Art Outside 2010
The 6th annual Art Outside (AO), a festival of artistic interaction and inspiration. Often over-the-top and under-the-radar of traditional art, this celebration of creativity offers unique and interactive twists on the festival experience. The event, inspired by alternative art and music festivals all over the world, offers three days of diverse acts and provocative art within the natural canvas of Apache Pass.
Art Outside continues to redefine “What Art Is” through a colorful showcase of installation artists, modern-day folk and 2D artists, live painters, ground-breaking visual projectionists, fire sculptures and an eclectic range of performers and musicians. The AO format deconstructs the traditional idea of what an art show is, presenting new possibilities for what an art show can be.
Art Outside 2010, October 22-24, brings 80+ acts to Apache Pass, 9112 N. FM 908, Rockdale, TX, just 45 minutes outside of Austin. Located within the lush Central Texas woods, Apache Pass is only a few hours’ drive from Houston, San Antonio, Dallas and surrounding central Texas areas.
