A-TRAK & TOMMY TRASH – TUNA MELT
An insane video for the new track, “Tuna Melt”, by A-Trak & Tommy Trash.
Any video that has a dedicated person for “Dominos & Kinetics” is a video that we want to watch. I can’t even imagine what it was like to reset this giant Rube Goldberg for retakes, but it really made me want a tuna melt. I saw A-Trak at Austin City Limits last year and he really can throw down a serious set. It was probably 4 pm in the heat of the day and he had the kids bouncing. He has just the right mix of party tracks and hip hop style to keep it fresh. He also doesn’t play the same 3 songs over and over like the rest of every other mega festival djs out there.
Check out the making of video, which hardly scratches the surface of all the work put into the video, but gives you an understanding of how many resources and how meticulous the artists had to be in creating the set. The video, which features some great camera work, was directed by Ryan Staake, who also directed Diplo’s pole dancing video for “Set It Off”.
